Jerry, please send your message to The talking heads on MSNBC and to many other substacks like Robert Reich, Hopium and others that cannot spot the forest for the trees.

We have a window of opportunity to get Congressional Republicans to coperate re Ukraine. I've published the letter Rick Scott sent me. Wicker, McConnell, Tillis and other have said the same.

Need some Republicans onboard, or impeachment is not going to work. I like Carville's idea for what dems should do right now: Roll Over and Play Dead. Let the Republicans feel the increasing heat from their constituents.

heat won't matter when the regime follows through on publicly discussed plans to end democracy

Thank you Jerry, for an excellent resource for those who want to DO SOMETHING!

“If public protests get too large or unruly, we can expect to encounter an armed response to suppress them. And there’s every reason to believe that the cadre of determined oligarchs and aspiring authoritarians orchestrating this aggressively lawless operation will ultimately defy whatever court-ordered injunctions may be ordered.”

…Totally agree! Since the trump 1.0 church crossing for the upside down bible photo op, he’d like nothing more than to create a situation to force a shooting of the protesters, or at least, shooting them in the legs. He literally salivated over that prospect the first time around!

Same answer I have always given: How much did YOU give in campaign contributions last year? None? Then you don't count under our present system, which will remain in place until campaign contributions are illegal.

Now, as to impeachment, the members of Congress will simply ignore you. Then what will you do?

Campaign contributions need to be illegal. I am astounded that Americans haven't learned this and haven't pushed to change the law - out in the streets and rallied at their representatives' offices.

Is what you have described your sole mission? Is there another agenda in code on this platform?

I appreciate your message. I see no other way to suppress votes in 2026 than to expose where and how they have already accomplished what they want. If we roll over and play dead, that won't encourage the Republican congressmen and women to attend town hall events and face the livid crowds. They are afraid. They should be very afraid.

MAKE the CALL flood the switchboard. tell them Elon Musk must be fired Immediately or pick your fight, call several times if need be. The U.S. Capitol switchboard is 202-224-3121. Tell the operator where you’re from and the operator will connect you to your representatives and senators.

202-224-3121

the switchboard is backed up, keep the pressure on

I was put on hold for my rep, but I waited and then said my piece

The first step needs to be remove Mike Johnson as speaker of the house and replace with a moderate R. This is doable, and there appears to be quiet action in that direction. It would breaks the Maga chain of control. That would enable impeachment of both Trump and Vance simultaneously, and this time I suspect enough of the Senate sees the danger posed by the two clearly as our economic and international standing deteriorates. Elon is not elected, so could simply be dismissed. I'm certain that criminal charges can be brought against him, with a Dept of Justice that actually functions.

The first time I heard this, I thought it was pie-in-the-sky. But then I heard what some of our representatives are saying, and realized that this is entirely possibly, and that the work of active protest by We the People is a critical part of setting this up. Protest in the streets as much as you are capable- keep it peaceful but highly visible. Nagging our reps and Senators (or thanking them as appropriate), reminding them of their responsibility to us. All the many things already going on, all the many groups now coordinating are part of this to "re-coup our democracy".

See you on the streets and in the Zooms.

Before you call, look up the zip code for a town in their district. You can use the zip code of their local office.

Then place your call, give your first name, & say “My zip code is ______ & I am a constituent,” then proceed with your message about removing Johnson as Speaker & then about impeachment

We tried to contact our 2 Repub senators in NC and you either get cut off or get redirected to another area, where you wait, then get cut off. It is electrically an impossibility to make conact, and I think that is by design. They were told to only hold virtual events. They are running scared.

As of Friday evening, US time, the ssa.gov website did NOT allow signing in to accounts. It tossed up a page with “shutdown” in the URL — ssa.gov/admin/shutdown. Nothing about “down for maintenance” or the like, though it does say: "You've requested a page on the Social Security website that does not exist."

Impeachment without conviction is a waste of time and resources. It's also how we got Trump 2.0. Sad but true: unless the Democrats control the House there will be no impeachments; unless the Democrats control the Senate there will be no convictions. Finally, IF Trump and Vance were impeached and convicted (the biggest IF in the history of the World), Moses Mike would become the POTUS.
